Historical photos
[edit]Below are some public domain photos of the granite quarry operations circa 1910, from Granites of the Southeastern Atlantic States, Bulletin 426, United States Geological Survey, Government Printing Office, Washington, 1910. Perhaps someone who knows about the current quarry in Mount Airy can incorportate them.

There should be more content about the geographical features and nature of the landscape. Maybe add note-able things to do around the area such as vineyard tours of local wineries and breweries. http://www.visitmayberry.com/category/vineyards-wineries/ Ratcliffhn (talk) 19:08, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
